At Property Inventories we understand that our business activities have direct and indirect impact on the environment. Traditionally inventories were paper-based but this has changed significantly over the last 10 years.  We operate our day-to-day business in a manner sensitive to the environment, to conserve natural resources, reduce waste, reduce our carbon footprint, and to prevent pollution to land, water and air.

• We comply with relevant environmental legislation and other requirements.

• We try to make continual improvements in environmental performance.

• We take appropriate steps to prevent pollution and minimize our negative impacts on the environment and to conserve natural resources. We focus on local business – this results in much reduced travel levels. We use public transport as much as possible.

• We aim to minimise paper and energy consumption in our offices.  Over 95% of our reports are now entirely digital, compared to the vast majority being paper-based 10 years ago.

• We train, educate and inform our employees about environmental issues that may affect their work.

• We encourage our suppliers to develop similar and complementary environmental strategies.

We undertake annual reviews of our objectives, targets and performances where necessary, updating this policy and any procedures when appropriate.
